AT THE HOUSE~

While staying at the mountain home, sun yourself on the big rock or "rock hop" in the river.  Float down the rapids to the big bridge.  Maybe you like to fish?  We have fishing poles here!  Or maybe you need some quiet time, just you, your loved one, sitting on the porch or on the big rock soaking your feet in the refreshing river.  Sit and listen!  What do you hear?

Don't forget to visit the Bat Cave for a guided walk through the Bat Cave Nature Preserve to the largest fissure cave in North America.

Hike at Montreat Assembly just north of Black Mountain (go to Cabin Pictures and see the sunset picture at Lookout Point)

Visit the beautiful Asheville Botanical Gardens located near the Blue Ridge Parkway!

SHOPPING!!!  SHOPPING!!  SHOPPING!! Visit the shops in the towns of Bat Cave,  Black Mountain and Asheville.  Be sure to shop in the Biltmore Village and the Shoppes at Chimney Rock
